Out of school
Madison has missed so much school here recently. First it was because she broke out with the chicken pox, then she developed an ear infection directly following the pox which the docs and I wanted to keep her out to ensure the infection wasn't a precursor to something else brewing as can happen when you contract a childhood disease such as chicken pox. That was two solid weeks. Well she went back to school on Valentine's day, which she really enjoyed. But in the middle of the night she started having bad ear pains. She was so exhausted the next morning and just couldn't get a move on that I kept her out. I'm really glad I did. She developed a fever a little later and some really bad pain. We're keeping her out the rest of this week and will send her back when we get back from our mini-family vacation. So she has been in school all of 1 day in three weeks. She misses school a lot!
